S N BHAT Academy is one of the best Guidance cell in Banashankari Bangalore, it gives valid information and excellence in guidance the main aim to have the counselling sell is to guide and make clear understanding in the particular concept. We have experts who counsel the students and make them self to solve the problem.

As we all know “where there is a problem there itself is a solution” so our counselling members have empathy towards the students and try to interact with them. They not only handle college problems they even look after the student’s personal problem and try their best to find solution for it.

Career guidance and counselling programmes focus on reinforcement and advise to encourage the students to reach out their goals,  our counselling member also focuses on students strength and weakness spreading the self awareness, decision making skills, planning skills, personality  development etc.

 There is a separate cell for counselling the students with well equipped air conditioned conference training rooms as well as the separate rooms for mock interviews. There are professionals appointed to handle the counselling section.


Aims and Objectives:


  • To assist the students by sharing the knowledge about themselves by identifying skills and interests.
  • To covey right information about future course imperative, financial aid, academic planning, entrance examination etc.
  • Organising the seminars based on interview skill, personality development, communication skills, leadership skills, resume writing, analytical skills, quantitative ability, verbal and reasoning skills essential to all competitive exams etc.

Guidance and Counselling:


  • S N BHAT Academy focuses on the students who are weak in academics and guide them to lead a right path.
  • The counselling cell handles the personal problem as will and suggest and guide them to solve the problem in positive attitude.
  • It helps to build the confidentiality and comfort zone to share their problems.
  • It is any time walk in place where the students have no restriction on time.
  • We conduct individual and group counselling.

As mentors, faculty guide mentees in their personal and academic matters, and maintain a record of their academic and personal profile.The mentor directs the mentee to the college counselor for guidance if needed.The Guidance and Counselling Committee of the college is being looked after by a trained counsellor, who is assisted in providing guidance and support to the students by the teaching faculty.The committee identifies students who require services on priority along with their areas of deficiency and suggests the improvement required.  As far as academic counselling is concerned, students receive assistance on how to study and write the examinations to get good marks, Time management etc.,.

The committee also conducts individual as well as group counselling. The guidance cell deals with personal problems with adjustment in college or issues related to peer problems.


Remedial and Enrichment Programmes:

Special teachings will be given to the students who don’t perform well in internal assessment examination. These students are considered as remedial students on the basis of their understanding and abilities of comprehension and performance in oral/written tests, assignments and seminars.  The special training will be given to help them to solve the problem easier and make them understand better. There are many creative logics used to develop the students in the academic field.

Skilled Develop Programmes:


Many in-house training programmes such as Personality Development, Communication Development, Programmes on Life Skills, ICT Skills, Management Skills, Micro and Macro skills of teaching and Skills of organizing events are also conducted on the basis of needs identified after administering the Training Need Analysis (TNA) Questionnaire.
